5 Things We Love About Chicago…Because We Cannot Choose Just One

There are so many things to love about this town and its surrounding suburbs–it was hard to decide on just five things!

Let’s start with number 5 on our list: Chicago Sports! We love our teams no matter the heartbreak they cause us from time to time. But we are in it to win it, and this spring and summer should bring a ton of exciting competition—especially right now, with both the Bulls and Blackhawks in the playoffs!. And let’s not forget about our soccer fans: the Chicago Fire season started in March and continues through July.

Number 4: PrettyQuick! PrettyQuick is a wonderful third party service for all things beauty. Book appointments, get recommendations from editor-vetted salons, enjoy cashless payment, and earn free goodies.

Number 3 is a family favorite:, the zoo. Whether you spend your day at Brookfield or Lincoln Park Zoo, you’ll be sure to enjoy hours of family fun. This summer, bBoth zoos are opening up new attractions, and will offer adult only events, and great membership packages.

Number 2: Spring and summer means one things in Chicago… ROOFTOPS! Rooftop dining that is, and we will not forget the patios either. There are so many to choose from, so spend a little time at each of them this summer. The new Virgin Hotel has two bars, plus a “secret” bar one floor down. If it’s a view you are looking for, look no further than The J. Parker on top of The Hotel Lincoln. Besides signature cocktails, lounge seating inside and out, and an award-winning chef, J. Parker offers some of the most spectacular views in all of Chicago.

Our Number 1 thing we love….TACORI! The Tacori trunk show is upon us, and boy do we have the goods. Come and see the full line of Tacori bridal and fashion jewelry at any one of our three locations. Show us your love at our Tacori Spring Bling Tax Back Weekend & Diamond Expo April 25th & 26th in Orland Park & Schererville, or May 2nd & 3rd in Lincoln Park. Call your local jewelry store to set your appointment now.
